To the children in my life

I praise God for you

I praise God that I get to buy you books

I love your smile and laugh

I love to talk about Jesus with you.

To the children in my life

I praise God for you

I know there are days where I look sad

Or a moment where I look distracted

Its not that you are not important

Its because you are that important

Please know sometimes I get sad or mad at God because I am not a mommy

I am not mad at you.

To the children in my life

I praise God for you

You are so important.

You are a gift from God.

God chose your mommy and daddy with great care. 

To the children in my life

I praise God for you. 

When things get hard

Know that God loves you.

God Chose you.

He sent Jesus to save  for you. 

To the children in my life

I praise God for you.

Jesus loves you, this you know

For the Bible tell you so.

Little ones to him belong

They are weak and he is strong.

To the children in my life

I praise God for you

Jesus loves you, He who died

Heaven’s gate to open wide

He will wash away your sin

Let his little child in.
