Top 5 Beaches

Top 5 beaches

Good morning how are you? I am finally getting a chance to write my blog after trying to go the DMV but only to realize they only take cash. I rarely have cash on me. SO after trying to accomplish what today was supposed to be, we got redirected. No Big deal. When I thought about today’s blog, I was struck with how I have been able to go to the beach 3 times this year. Usually, I get a chance to visit the beach 3 times a year. Now I am a California Girl, and the beach is amazing.

I love everything about the beach, shells, mermaids, fish, dolphins, rocks, the sound of the waves, the sting of the wind, the warmth of the sun and sand, the smell of salt. I have been to a plethora of beaches. Here is a list of my top 5

La Jolla

La Jolla is kinda my mom’s, and I spot. When I was a young girl, she and I go just the two of us. There was a mall we would go to and walk around. We loved the sea cave and the shells shops and walking along the sea cliff. It is beautiful. It has become a tradition when I fly into San Diego, my mom and I stop at La Jolla.

Pebble Beach

Pebble Beach is beautiful. The water is a dark sapphire blue, and the craggy rocks create the white-capped wave. It’s gorgeous, and there are pebbles that tourists have stacked into cairns. It’s kinda the perfect mix of history and God’s creative spirit. It is beautiful.

  Oceanside Harbor

My Parents got engaged on this beach. My aunt and uncle got engaged on this beach. It’s my mom’s favorite beach, and it is one that I grew up going to. It’s a great beach to sit and listen to the waves and be able to breathe. It’s beautiful and warm. There is an osprey that lives here and sea lions and seals. Pelicans and seagulls. This is an idyllic spot for a lunch picnic or an ice cream cone by the beach.

 Natural Bridges

Natural Bridges beach is a state beach. And It has monarchs that swarm in from November to February. However, the real beauty of this beach is the natural stone bridge that is off the shore. Sea birds roost there. The emerald green Santa Cruz waters make for a gentle surf. It is one of my favorite thinking spots. It is one of my favorite picnic spots. It is one of my favorite breathing spots.

 McBee Beach

This tiny beach is located right on the cannery row in Monterrey. Jman and I got engaged on this beach, and it is usually not very busy. Monterrey waters are a deep sapphire. The golden sands contrast the unique color of the bay. I tell everyone that I travel with to Monterrey that this is my beach, and it makes me feel loved. This beach is the place where my love story and adventure began. Its the place where I said yes without worry about the future.

Love is not happy with evil. But it is full of joy when the truth is spoken. It always protects. It always trusts. It always hopes. It never gives up.
