Emotional Bank

My emotional bank is bone dry

I need you to fill me up

I have poured out myself and I have nothing else to give

I need your holy water to fill me up

Quench my thirst

Refill my bank

Wave’s crash over me

Saturate my spongy heart

Give me the peace

That comes from the water

Please fill me up

Surround me in silence

A still wind

I need your anchor

Your resounding voice

To surround me

My bank is overdrawn

I need your peace

Lord to settle my frantic mind

And exhausted heart

Please fill me up

There is such a drought in my heart

An ache and worries

Please fill me up

Be my anchor

A steady place to land

Secured to sand

In your seas

I need to be saturated

I need to be filled

Please fill me up.
